Many tech workers imagine a radically different workplace
But the way forward can seem murky

We are gathering to read Unions of Our Own to illuminate a path together. This original and compelling new book offers a step by-step framework for workers to design and iterate unions that meet their needs, honor their values, and advance visions of dramatic change.

Tech workers will find a welcoming space to make meaning of the book together and connect across workplaces. The reading group will be facilitated by a tech worker member of the Solidarity Union Network who is an experienced practitioner of the union building philosophy in the book. Author and veteran labor organizer Daniel Gross will pay a visit at one of the sessions.
